Block Island Organics reached out to me a few weeks ago to test out a few of their products. I love testing new skin care products! Especially living in Florida with hot sunny days I am always looking for products containing SPF. What intrigued me the most was that their products are natural organic products containing no chemicals!
Since I have hit my 30’s I am more aware of what I put on my skin and skin care has became extremely important to me. Ugh, to think what I did to myself in my teens and 20’s makes me cringe now.

I am in LOVE with this moisturizer! It even won the 2016 Best Moisturizer with SPF (Environmental Working Group – EWG) and I can understand why, this moisturizer is amazing.
First the smell is so good, not chemical smelling at all. Its sweet if it came in a perfume I’d wear it. I think it might be the Shea butter. The moisturizer is on the thicker side which I like and feels great on the skin. It did not even break me out since I have acne prone skin. I have even worn it under makeup and it creates a very nice glow from within like of look (is that a thing?). It just makes my makeup flawless.
Plus is contains SPF 30 which is always something I look for in my moisturizers.

Organic Purifying Facial Cleanser – Retails $21.99
The Block Island Organics facial cleanser is amazing too! It lathers well and so gentle on my skin but still makes my skin feel clean and removes most of my makeup. I love that this is in a pump form and a little bit goes a long way.
The smell is on the floral side which is nice not overpowering like other cleansers I have used. The only downside for me is I need a cleanser with acne cleansing properties so this did not break me out however I can only use this cleanser a few times a week to keep my acne at bay.
My husband used it and he has combination skin and he loved it!
