You know when you have hundreds of Christmas cards to mail, well that’s about the time I realized I slacked off yet another year of getting my addresses organized. They are all stored in my computer, but that is not always convenient.

Last year while waiting for my daughter to get out of school sitting in the car line, what was I doing? Multitasking and addressing envelopes. I want this year to grab a main address list printable and go. Not only for Christmas cards but for anything I have to send out. I do not want to run to my computer every time I have to look up an address.

So today I have a free address list printable to add to my home binder. Easy to read and pretty to match all the others. This one has spaces to add all the contact information about that person including phone number and email address. Plus it is editable, to keep those lines clean.

Weekly Cleaning List Printable

Keeping a clean house is not easy! I don’t know about you but I need a main cleaning list that I go off of when I make my daily to do lists. This way nothing gets missed, it’s all there on my command center weekly cleaning list printable.

Once I started keeping a weekly cleaning list, I realized every room can get easily broken up into its own day. By doing a room a day or different zones depending on what you call it you do not have that panic day of trying to clean your entire house.

Before I had children I was able to spend an entire day cleaning and getting organized, it was usually a Sunday. My husband got to watch football while I cleaned, seems unfair now since we both worked tee – hee. Once I had my daughter and became a stay at home mom that was no longer possible for me. Forget it, after I had all three kids running around! Oh I couldn’t keep up and felt that my home was a war zone.

The weekly cleaning list printable is not set in stone. If I miss something, it’s okay with me and I just make it up next week. I feel so much better about my house when I can have that unexpected guest stop by. Sure there are still toys everywhere but at least it’s clean. I feel more accomplished every day that I am not spending hours cleaning. A typical day of cleaning now is no more than an hour on average.

I have a free weekly cleaning list printable for you to download to add to your home binders. This one is editable like some of the other printables I have. It stays neat and clean typed out once you find what works best for you.

Crock pot Chicken Fajitas

This dish is amazingly delicious but is so simple to make your family wont believe you didn’t stand over the stove slaving away at it. Perfect for those busy school nights at my house.

You can toss the ingredients in the crock pot late morning and walk away until dinner time, couldn’t be any easier. Plus, I also like the fact that its made from scratch and not a packet of processed seasonings, the flavor is much brighter and fresher this way, and the chicken stays moist and juicy.

This recipe easily doubles or triples to feed a crowd and makes a great weeknight meal or even a Sunday dinner. It is sure to become one of the most requested dishes in your weekly menu rotation.

Crock pot Chicken Fajitas

Ingredients:

4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 bag of frozen onions and pepper mix
1 Tbsp. lime juice
½ tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Paprika
1 Tbsp. Cumin
1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
1 tsp. Onion flakes
2 tsp. Cornstarch

Directions:

Spray crock pot well with non-stick cooking spray.

Lay chicken breasts on bottom of crock pot- you can cut smaller if you want but they will cook fine this way and are easy to shred when they are ready.

Sprinkle all your seasoning and remaining ingredients over chicken.

Top with peppers and onions.

Cook on low for 4-6 hours until fork tender.

Use two forks to shred apart chicken completely.

Drain chicken before serving in tortillas.

My kids favorite part, adding their own toppings. Don’t forget to set out salsa, sour cream, fresh cilantro, and shredded cheese to top your chicken fajitas.

Beef Tips with Homemade Egg Noodles

This dish is a perfect comfort food on a chilly weeknight or a to make a delicious and filling Sunday Dinner.This Beef Tips With Homemade Egg Noodles will please the entire family. The noodles are pretty quick and easy, even for homemade, and the beef tips are pretty much set it and forget it.

Beef Tips With Homemade Egg Noodles

Ingredients:

1 ½ pound sirloin beef tips
1/3 beer
jar beef gravy
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp. Ground black pepper
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. butter

Directions:

Place butter, onions, and garlic in crockpot on high for 20 minutes and allow to caramelize.

Turn crockpot to low and add in beef tips, and beer.

Cook on low for 4-6 hours, until tender.

Add salt, pepper, and gravy and let it cook for another 30 minutes.

While beef tips are cooking you can whip up a batch of homemade egg noodles to serve with them.

Egg Noodles

2 cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. Canola or olive oil
2 tsp. Salt

(makes about 4 servings)

In a medium bowl stir together flour and salt.

Make a “well” or depression in the center of your flour mixture.

Pour eggs, milk and oil into the center.

Mix well.

Your dough will be sticky, it will smooth out as you knead.

Sprinkle some flour on a clean surface.

Knead dough for about 5 minutes.

Roll out very thin, thinner than pie crust, you want your noodles almost translucent if you can manage,truthfully I don’t usually have the patience to roll it that long, I just get it as thin as I can- these are homemade, rustic noodles after all they don’t have to be perfect.

Let noodles sit for about ½ hour and then cut with a knife or a pizza roller to about ¼ to ½ “ wide and 2-3 “ long.

Drop noodles into boiling water and cook for 10-12 minutes, noodles will float to the top and be fork tender when ready.

You can also prepare these noodles ahead for other uses-allow them to dry on counter for an hour, flip and let dry another hour, place them in a freezer safe zippered bag and store for 2-3 months in the freezer.

Free Printable Kids Chore Chart

I am always looking for a way to motivate my kids to help more around the house. Who isn’t? Since I am a list maker by heart I figured a chore chart is just what they needed. My older two who are almost 7 and 5 have become little list makers themselves. Ahh makes a momma proud ;).

I think especially now that they can write on their own, they want to write anything I will let them write on. Let’s face it we mom’s and dad’s need help around our homes. Even if it is as simple as making their own bed, dumping the bathroom garbage or putting away their clothes after I fold them, it all helps a little.My three year old even has his own chores he makes his bed and feeds our cat Garfield. It makes his feel that he is helping and with 3 pairs of hands helping me every day it makes my day run smoother.

Bright colors and easy to read makes it fun for them to get started helping.

Double Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake Muddy Buddies

These Double Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake Muddy Buddies are a perfect Valentine’s gift for your honey, a sweet treat to share with coworkers at the office, a great teacher gift, or a thoughtful gift for a neighbor.

They are simple to make and oh so very addicting. They taste exactly like a strawberry cheesecake, so if that is your thing you will love these!

This is a great simple recipe to get the kids involved in the kitchen, they will love stirring, shaking, and adding ingredients as well as one on one time with you.

You can even add your own special personal touch for Valentine’s Day by adding some red and pink M&M’s or Valentine sprinkles. After I made these my kids took little bowls and made theirs their own by adding what they like.

You can bag a scoop into a small cellophane bag and tie with a ribbon, add a tag and you have a yummy treat everyone will be sure to love.

Double Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake Muddy Buddies

Ingredients

6 cups corn Chex
2 cups white chocolate chips
½ cup powdered sugar
1 box cheesecake flavored pudding
1 packet strawberry kool-aid
½ cup chocolate chips
4 graham cracker rectangles

Directions:

Pour your Chex cereal into a large bowl.
Combine powdered sugar, cheesecake pudding, and kool-aid, shaking well in a gallon Ziploc bag.
Pour white chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl and melt the chocolate by heating it or 30 seconds at a time, stirring between each cycle, until completely melted and smooth.
Then pour chocolate over Chex mix and stir to thoroughly coat, working quickly.
Pour Chex and chocolate into a gallon bag, seal and shake to cover all your cereal.
Break graham crackers into small bite size pieces and toss with cereal mixture.
Finally, stir in chocolate chips.
Enjoy!
