Weekly Cleaning Schedule Printable

Have you ever tried to stick to a weekly cleaning schedule and failed? We tend to feel overwhelmed with all the tasks that go into with keeping our homes clean and organized. But it does not have to be that way!

Many years ago when I became a mom I came up with routines and schedules and found out what worked and what did not.

Weekly Cleaning Schedule

Making a weekly cleaning schedule for me was just the thing I needed to keep my home in order. But with three little ones running around I needed something efficient and something I could break up into chunks throughout my week.

I broke my home up into sections. Certain rooms or chores got done in bulk that way I was not wasting time with different products.

Now keep in mind since I have a morning routine and a nighttime routine this Weekly Cleaning Schedule was an add-on to actually keep things clean and sanitized. During my Weekly Cleaning Schedule, I do not declutter I downright deep clean.

Laundry is done daily at my house as well so I never get backed up.

During my weekly cleaning schedule, weekends are freebies for me.

This is where I will take one day to clean out or tidy up a closet or organize a big part of my home. Now I do not do this every weekend depending on my kiddos activities but I do take at least one weekend day a month and spend a whole day tidying up some area of my home.

In a future post, I can make a monthly cleaning schedule that I use as well for these items I do not do on a regular basis but still need to get done.

So there you have it a  weekly cleaning schedule that is simple and takes only about an hour a day. Great for stay at home moms or working moms or even dads.
