Potty training: it is that glorious moment between being excited your kid is moving up in the world and yet a very stressful part of parenting. Potty training can be classified as one of the most stressful times in the life of a parent.
Check out these tips for potty training to make your life that much easier.
#1. Start when your child is ready
The truth is, some kids are ready at 18 months and some kids need a little more time. Your best bet when it comes to potty training is to wait for when they are ready. I am not talking about waiting until they are 7-8, but give your kiddo some time. They will come around to the idea of being potty trained.
#2. Come up with a reward system now
One thing that makes sense for the person trying to get potty trained is a reward system. Potty training is hard work, which is why a reward system works wonders. You can do stickers, chocolate, or whatever else you think will help your little one potty train better.
#3. Do what works for you and your child
You will see advertisements for potty training “camps” that happen in less than 3 days. I don’t want you to think that every kid can be potty trained in less than 3 days because it probably won’t happen. Do what works best for you and your child. Keep the end goal in mind and know that you’re potty training, not sending them off to college.
#4. Use new Pampers Easy Ups
