You guys know I LOVE quick and simple recipes! These delicious decedent chocolate truffles do not disappoint and the best part it only uses two ingredients that you most likely have on hand. For an extra special touch you can add sprinkles but not necessary they just add a nice texture and make them look pretty.
I like to make these 2 ingredient chocolate truffles for a simple get together or those last minute play dates that I need to serve a small snack, even the mommies like these. They always work in a pinch since I can make them in under an hour.
I even get the kids to help with these simple chocolate truffles. I love getting my kids involved in the kitchen whenever I can and Bri who is 9 can pretty much make these herself. The boys 7 and 5 like to help roll them once I get the ingredients to the right consistency and every child loves adding their own touch with the sprinkles and making them their own.
These could easily be made into vanilla truffles by swapping out the chocolate cake mix for vanilla and add yellow sprinkles. Really you could use any cake mix and coordinating sprinkles, you get the idea here.

2 Ingredient Chocolate Truffles Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix, any brand is fine
- 1/2 C. butter melted (plus a few extra tablespoons, on hand)
- 1/2 C. chocolate sprinkles (optional)
Directions :
- Pour the cake mix into a large bowl and add in the 1/2 cup of melted butter. Stir to combine the ingredients. Have a few extra tablespoons of melted butter on hand. If the mixture is crumbly, add 1 tablespoon of melted butter at a time until the dough holds together.
- Roll the cookie dough into 2″ balls and then roll in the sprinkles (see photo).
- Place in the fridge to set for 30 minutes.
- Enjoy!
*Makes almost 2 dozen truffles

Chocolate lovers will LOVE this easy recipe to create what sounds like a decadent dessert! I also love quick and easy with minimal ingredients, so you have really mastered that for these chocolate truffles. I’m more of a vanilla gal, and I know that whatever flavour someone favours, you’ve made the process simple and easy for them. Great idea for dinner parties too!
