This week flew by and we only have one more week of summer before the kiddos are off to school. We are all ready! We headed down to the Sawgrass Mills Mall last week for all their shoes and clothing back to school shopping. We spent all day there just shopping from store to store and the kids had so much fun. It’s been awhile since I have been down that way so I enjoyed just spending the day with them. This was the first year I kind of let them have free rein over what they wanted (within reason of course). They truly enjoyed that! It’s so amazing how each one of them has a completely different style as to how they dress. Even JJ got to get a few things since he will be starting Pre-K 🙁 I am not ready to let my baby go yet. You can read all about our day at Sawgrass HERE.
And remember this week is tax free week until the 16th so you can save a ton for back to school! That completed back to school shopping for us!
As far as regular grocery shopping – ready to gasp I went to the store without a list! It is so rare when I do this but I sort of lost track of time and since we were on vacation last weekend I sort of just went and grabbed things I knew I’d need to get me through for a few days. The best part of that trip though, I went with my husband alone, no kids! So I was able to concentrate a bit more while piecing meals together on the fly. Still I felt out of my comfort zone haha.
I have a feeling next week will be the same. Its the last week of summer and I just want to enjoy it and I can get back to our schedule the following week.
Here are my shopping totals:
Spent – $97.09
Saved – $39.23
Feel free to link up and comment on your shopping totals too! Please when linking keep it to a shopping trip post all links to your homepage will be deleted.
