Today is my middle son’s 6th birthday. I say it every year with every child, where does the time go? CJ has always been a momma’s boy. Him and I have this bond since the minute he was born he took one look at me and never wanted to leave my side. Its not like any of my other kids, we just get each other.
Today we are having our family birthday celebration where they get to pick what they want for dinner and I make their cake. Its something I have done for each of them on their actual birthday. Tonight he requested pizza, not a surprise since that is one of the five things the boy eats ;). So I have to run to the store today and grab some fresh pizza dough.
Other than that I pretty much shopped so much this week it got me almost 2 weeks full of groceries. I was really due for a huge BJ’s haul and Publix ran over last week into this week. We grabbed a few dinners for take out this week, I was just being lazy so those meals can carry over into this week. Love when that happens! I hopefully can go this whole week without running to get much of anything other than produce.
Let me address my coupon issue before I share my shopping totals. I am just in a funk these past few weeks. Couponing has taken a back seat to life right now. I always shop on sale to keep my costs down but using coupons is not really happening these days unless they are attached to the product. Once the kids are home for the summer hopefully I can get back into the swing of it but I think as long as I stay under my average budget of $125 – $150 a week I’m happy with it.
Here are my weekly shopping totals for this week:
Spent – $281.02
Saved – 192.62
Feel free to link up and comment on your shopping totals too! Please when linking keep it to a shopping trip post all links to your homepage will be deleted.
