How often do you shop online? This busy mom the answer is alot! It’s just easier to grab what I need online rather than heading to the store and sometimes bringing my whole gang.
When shopping online I like to use cash back sites. You know the ones that pay you a percentage at a certain store every time you place an order.
I had to place an order to my favorite online store, Amazon the other day and came across Giving Assistant.org. They are a different cash back site by helping those in need, which I love. It’s always nice to pay it forward.
Like other cash back sites, Giving Assistant will pay you a percentage (varies by store) but they have the option for you to give a percentage to charity of your choice from their list. Here is the best part though. They offer coupons again depending on the store for a percentage off or free shipping etc. but for each coupon they will donate a meal to a family in need through the nonprofit organization Feeding America. How great is that?!
Giving Assistant truly gives back when you shop online!
Payment is a little different too. With Giving Assistant you can choose to have your money directly added back onto your debit card. No waiting for checks in the mail every month or quarter. The best part, they will send you the cash onto your card once you hit only $1.
If you are not comfortable with the cash back option they do offer a mailed check option. Cash out is a minimum of $5 and it is paid every quarter. They use the company Stripe for processing so it is very secure and never sold to a 3rd party.
From airlines, hotels to clothing stores they have thousands of stores that offer you cash back. For example I placed an Amazon order so I will be receiving 5% cash back, and I am donating 10% to the charity I picked. The cash back was credited less than a week of me placing my Amazon order. It’s so much faster than any other cash back site I have ever used.
I have to start ordering the kids spring clothes so Old Navy and Kohl’s offers 4%, those will be my next purchases through Giving Assistant some time next week when I see what I need for spring and summer. I also see some nice coupons to use with it to for some extra savings.
I did alittle comparison with their percentages too. Their percentages are one of the highest paying I have seen compared to other sites. And by far the fastest payment as most companies do not offer a payment right into your bank account which is so much easier for me to keep track of.
Signing up was fast and simple. It’s just one extra step before you start shopping and it’s all for a great cause. I highly recommend paying it forward the next time you are shopping online with Giving Assistant. It’s truly a win-win situation for everyone.
