This Cheesy Crockpot Meatloaf comes out of your slow cooker so juicy and full of flavor that you won’t believe it. This is comfort food at it’s best- not diet food, so don’t confuse the two.
You can omit the steak sauce to cut out some sodium (but I wouldn’t recommend it, it adds a lot of flavor!) Everything in moderation, and this is one of those nights you indulge.
Can you imagine working or running around all day to sit down to this meal ready and delicious? Now that the kids are back to school I am back to crockpot cooking, many nights these days.
Serve with mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls for a delicious weeknight dinner or it makes for a wonderful weekend meal too.
Cheesy Crockpot Meatloaf Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ lbs. ground beef (my favorite is a chuck/sirloin combo)
- 3/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 2 cups shredded cheddar
- ⅓ cup parmesan cheese
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 eggs
- 1-2 Tbsp. steak sauce
- ½ tsp. black pepper
- ½ tsp.garlic salt
Directions:
1 – Combine all ingredients in a large bowl with your hands.. gross i know but it is the only way to mix up your meatloaf- a wooden spoon just wont do it.
2 – Coat the bottom of your slow cooker with non stick spray, or line the bottom well with a solid piece of aluminum foil for easy clean up.
3 – Form your meat mixture into a long loaf, place in crockpot.
4 – Add a bit more ketchup to the top of your loaf to cover and lock in a bit more flavor.
5 – Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low 6-7 hours.I usually choose the low since I am out and about running errands.
6 – Slice right in the crockpot and serve.
* If you prefer this same recipe can be made in a 350 degree oven, bake for 55-60 minutes.

Meatloaf is a definite feel-good food for me. I would love to have it done easily in the crockpot like this too.

My husband LOVES meatloaf. I never make it, but he orders it and gets excited when he sees it at a restaurant. Now that I see this crockpot recipe, I am so jazzed to make it for him. It looks so good!
Mine too! 🙂
That looks like it has a lot of yummy flavors in it. I love that you just put it all in the crockpot and that’s it!

I’m not usually a big fan of meatloaf but I like the idea of it being a cheesier dish. I would totally be willing to give this a try.

I never make meatloaf because I don’t like using the whole oven for just one little pan. This fixes that. Going to pin this and try it.
There’s nothing better than comfort food except comfort food in the crockpot! That looks delish! Thanks for sharing! #HomeMattersParty
