Well it has set in full blown Christmas madness at my house. My kids last day of school is today so I have been busy this week trying to get as much done as I can. I love when they are home and I like to make their time of from school less scheduled and fun.
I used this week to get a ton of things done so I wasnt frantically running around next week with them home. Have you even been grocery shopping with 3 kids a few days before Christmas? Its not fun! So I tried to stock up quite a bit this week to tide me over.
Hopefully by the weekend my house will be cleaned and everything will be wrapped so we can enjoy a nice full week of fun activities and of course a fantastic Christmas. I like the no schedule when they are home almost anything goes. Later bedtimes, sleeping in, tons of Christmas baking, they need it as much as I do. Im sure like many of you these past weeks have been filled with so many extras the break is well deserved.
I fell like I went to every store I shop at this week and then some. A few last minute gifts and treats for the kids classes for their parties this week. I was over budget but I think I might be able to get almost 2 weeks out of my groceries except produce and dinner options so I am okay with that. I was very under budget last week anyway.
Here are my Christmas madness shopping totals:
Spent – $213.98
Saved – $172.10
