Crockpot Maple Glazed Pork Loin
My husband hates when I do anything he calls “fancy” to good, simple recipes. I was taking a big risk putting maple syrup on this I knew that. Thankfully he actually loved it and raved about the flavor, plus he is a huge bacon fan so the back that the pork loin is wrapped in bacon didn’t hurt. So we now have a new favorite fall dish in the house.
Crockpot Maple Glazed Pork Loin Recipe
- 2 lb. boneless Pork Loin
- ¾ cup Maple Syrup
- 2 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
- ¼ cup Dijon Mustard
- 2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 1 ½ tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 4-5 sliced uncooked bacon
- ½ cup liquid- water, beer, broth (it’s up to you)
- Whisk maple syrup, vinegar, dijon mustard, soy, garlic, and black pepper together well, set aside.
- Pour your liquid into the bottom of the crockpot-water, beer, or broh.
- Place pork loin in the center of liquid.
- Drizzle half of your maple syrup mixture over pork loin.
- Cover loin with bacon strips lengthwise.
- Turn crockpot on low and cook for 7-8 hours.
- If your are home occasionally baste your loin with the juices in the crock, if not don’t worry it won’t hurt.
- In the last 20-30 minutes top bacon covered pork with remaining maple mixture.
Serve the crockpot maple glazed pork loin with quick mashed potatoes and fresh greens beans, you will have the perfect comfort food meal with little fuss.
