Happy Friday! Well, we are coming up on our last week of summer this week. I finished all of my back to school shopping as far as supplies, clothes and lunch items. This week we hope to have some fun, trying to fit in some fun last minute activities the kids really enjoyed over the summer.
With two out of three going into full time school, I’m hoping this year will be much better than my last school year. I dreaded getting into the car every two and a half hours to pick someone up by the new year. I felt overwhelmed not being able to get much done during the day since I practically lived in the car. There just was not a long enough stretch of time to get much completed. I’m not going to lie though, I will sort of miss the lazy days of summer, sleeping in and enjoying fun playtime all summer grew on me.
Since this past week was sort of hectic with so much back to school shopping I sort of put grocery shopping on the back burner. My kids were so over shopping I didnt have the energy to battle taking them to Publix,it would have been a recipe for disaster. My husband was kind enough to go one evening for me when he got home from work to save me from the meltdown it could have caused. We really did not need much just enough to get up through the week since I had a pretty big stock up last week.
Here are my last week of summer shopping totals:
Spent – $59.11
Saved – $87.43
