Some people find the largest cities of the United States filled with towering skyscrapers, bright lights, and thousands of people to be the crown jewel of human civilization. It is true that the New York skyline is impressive, but the peaceful acres of the country have natural beauty and charm that the busiest city will never have. People who live in the country enjoy many benefits that make life simpler and more relaxing.
4 Reasons Why You Should Consider Moving To The Country
In a city, people basically live on top of each other in just enough space to function. However, in the country, a backyard fence is not needed to keep you and your family out of sight of nosy neighbors. Mowing the lawn is not a public event, and you can sunbathe in your backyard without shocking the neighborhood kids. You can grill out and relax with your family and friends in the privacy of your own property. It’s a great way to get some time to yourself.
In a country home, a five-year-old can play in the front yard unaccompanied. Many country houses are far away from the road, so it is less likely for a child to be hit by a car or kidnapped. Your kids can go play outside without you having to worry about their safety. While crimes to happen, they are far less common out in the country.
For peaceful relaxation, nothing is better than a country home. The murmur of traffic and hum of human voices that are constant background noise in every city are almost unheard of in a house located in the country. Instead, these grating sounds are replaced by the sweet songs of birds and the wind rustling the grass and trees. The atmosphere in the country is one of quiet, tranquil contemplation. If you don’t mind being alone, the country offers the perfect quiet seclusion.
Those who live in the country are exposed to many picturesque sights. Even a short drive to the grocery store may allow you to view the most appealing landscapes. A field of golden wheat rippling in the wind, a little white farmhouse with plantation style shutters on a lush hill, and a bright red barn perched alone on a distant ridge are all lovely sights that are commonplace in the country. Wherever you drive in the country, you will be sure to find sights that range from cute and delicate, to grand and magnificent.
A life in the country is guaranteed to hold advantages and wonders you might have never considered. Whether you seek a peaceful, pretty place to retire, have a desire to explore nature, or simply want a safe place to raise a family, country living is likely to have the appeal for which you have been looking.
