Disclosure: I was provided the items to host the #DisneySide party by @Home Celebration free of charge to facilitate my post but the opinions are 100% mine.
We are VERY big fans of Disney and all that goes with the magic here in my house. My kids are into it all and having three different age groups they all have their favorites but they all can agree Mickey is one of the best.
We hosted a Disney party filled with lots of goodies and fun for the kiddos. This set the tone for our upcoming trip to Disney next week and my kids are pumped now. With the help of my neighbor the party was a HUGE success! We threw her son an amazing 4th birthday party and everyone brought their Disney Side.
We had a design a shirt station which included Hanes tee – shirts and Crayola fabric markers. The kids had such a blast with this. My neighbor drew the outline of Mickey on each shirt for them to color in and also drew up a sample of characters if the kids wanted to get really fancy.
We also had a paint a Mickey station. Little plaster Mickey faces for the kids to paint was a huge hit. Especially with my little artists.
What party would not be complete with out a bounce house? We always get a bounce house when we throw a party and since this one was outside the kids asked and well, I gave in. I am glad I did because they could have bounced all day.
The food was Mickey themed as well. Mickey cupcakes topped with Oreo Mickey ears, Mickey sugar cookies and the cake, well the clubhouse of course. We used the same cookie cutter to make the fruit Mickey faces too.
Everyone had a great time, including the adults. The kids were so entertained that they did not even need us there. There was so much to do! Everyone left with a cute Mickey cup filled with, what else? Mickey goodies including tattoo’s, stickers, pencils and a few other goodies.
