I am so excited! After many years of living in south Florida we have never been to Disney World since we have had children. The last time we were there was almost 9 years ago when we were newly engaged. When we were married and planning for children I had visions of Disney trips with our kids but the reality was a bit different.
Trying to get out of debt we were never able to afford the trip. Having three children practically back to back did not help much either. I never wanted to have to walk around Disney pregnant or with a infant in tow in this Florida heat.
I am so excited that after 7 years and 3 kids later we are finally taking our kids to Disney World! My kids are super excited, they are all at the age where it’s still about the magic of it all. We decided since my children’s spring break is also the week of my daughters birthday what better way to celebrate it than in Disney? She is over the moon excited!
I have been planning the trip like a crazy person. There is so much information to read up on. No vacation is ever easy for moms but I’m hoping if I plan what rides we will go on, where to eat and car activities it will be a vacation for me to. It’s never easy traveling with kids and a toddler so I’d like to keep the meltdowns to a minimum. We will be visiting Magic Kingdom for two days and enjoying the other two days in the hotel, swimming and probably downtown Disney.
I’d love to hear your tips on a Disney World vacation. What are your must sees and dos while you are there? I don’t want to miss anything that the kids might enjoy.
