My youngest “baby” is turning three tomorrow. I have been in party planning mode all week for his Curious George themed party — tons of pictures to come. I have realized since opening my big mouth by asking he could have any theme he wants how hard it was to find much for Curious George. I wound up making a lot of the items myself and being a bit creative. To my surprise, I enjoyed doing it! I will be the first to tell you I am not crafty at all but I had a vision and I went with it. Hopefully my vision will come to life tomorrow on the actual day with my recipes and homemade decorations.
My son’s birthday is always a huge milestone for us. He was a very risky pregnancy and I am reminded of that every year. When we found out we were pregnant with him, he was not planned. We were warned after having my now middle child not to have any more due to a complicated c-section. Let’s just say it could have ended badly, very very badly. We decided to take the huge risk. Three years later I have an extra something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season every year!
I sort of put off shopping this week and decided to do a huge stock up and Thanksgiving shopping after the weekend. Honestly I just couldn’t find the time to actually get to the store. I did run to Publix really quick for some milk, eggs, bread and some fruit. After using my $5 off Winn Dixie coupon I was at about $30 for the week. I will more than make up for it next time. The Thanksgiving ad is always huge so I stock up on a lot during that sale.
I will live through you guys this week. How did you guys do this week? Feel free to link up and comment on your trips too! Please when linking keep it to a shopping trip post all links to your homepage will be deleted.
