My youngest son has the worst sensitive skin. It is so dry and gets cracked easily especially around his ankles, toes and fingers. I have tried many different products on him to try to help with his uncomfortable dry skin.
I was contacted by Toe Juice and jumped at the chance to give it a try! Toe Juice is an alcohol-based liquid infused with DermaVine. DermaVine is a blend of plant based extracts that enhance the skins natural repairing ability. It contains Willow Bark, Lemon Peel, and Cinnamonum extracts.
I love the fact that is does contain natural products. I never know what is in all those chemical based creams or lotions. Since it is a alcohol-based liquid it does not feel greasy in any way. It immediately absorbs into the skin, and if you have a 2 year old you understand how important this is! He hates when I apply anything on him that take a while to run into his skin, so this is perfect.
Toe Juice does not have an over powering smell either. I thought it would since it contains alcohol, it is a light scent. My son has been using this before bed right after bath and over a couple of weeks it has helped. His ankles have not been as cracked and I have noticed a lot less itching since we have been using it on him.
Their Hog Wash has helped his dry fingers as well. I am a huge lover of hand sanitizer, my kids call it “pee pee soap”. Since potty training they thought this was a reward for going to the potty, hey what ever works right? I noticed that on my son’s fingers they were very dry, I wondered if our regular pee pee soap has been making it worse so I switched him to the Hog Wash pee pee soap. Since using it I notice a slight difference in his skin and he likes it better because he says it does not burn.
