Disclosure: I was provided samples to complete my review. I was not compensated in any other way. All opinions are 100% mine.
My morning routine is always the same. Get the kids ready for school, my husband drops them off, I head to the gym then its back home for some cleaning and working. The one thing I love to do after I clean and while I settle into work is light a candle. It just makes me feel more relaxed knowing that the house looks clean but smells fresh too.
I was contacted by a company, called Bright Endeavors to review some of their candles. Well, after checking out their site I was honestly more impressed with their cause than the review.
Bright Endeavors Story
Bright Endeavors is truly an amazing opportunity for young moms based outside of Chicago. Offering them a paid job training program, they provide the guidance and job skills young moms need to help her and her child. Each soy candle is handcrafted by one of these young ladies, setting them up with a successful future and hands on job experience.
Their motto “light a candle and transform a life” is so inspirational for these ladies as 100% of their proceeds support their mission!
When a company like Bright Endeavors comes along, I am always willing to purchase since I fully support what a great cause this is. These young ladies even sign their name showing pride in their work.

I received the Lavender Sprig and the Black Currant Orchid. Burning time was amazing and the smell lasted a long time in my home which are always 2 things I look for in a good candle.
The Lavender Sprig is described as “herbal lavender flowers enhanced by accents of freshly cut grass”. Now I have to admit I am not really a lavender person when it comes to scents but this one offered more of a fresh clean crisp smell that I loved it!
The Black Currant Orchid is described as “fruity, floral fusion of black currant and grapefruit, tempered with rose and sophisticated base notes of amber and vanilla”. I LOVE this one! Its fruity and clean all wrapped into one for me. The mixture is a winner in my book!
If you love candles or know someone that does and want to support a good cause, check out the Bright Endeavors website for all they have to offer. These sets would make great gifts as well for Mother’s Day or just because.
