It’s been a busy week at my house this week. We have been preparing for our annual 4th of July party tomorrow. So that meant lots of shopping and lots of cleaning. It’s the party my kids look forward to every year to hang out with their friends and enjoy a fun day with family.
Knowing that there was a party at the end of the week, the kids were actually a big help. Great motivator huh?
This year, I found red, white and blue M&M’s at Target. I am a M&M fanatic so I was so excited to see them come around for the 4th. I always buy them for every holiday but have not seen these before. That kicked off a thought that I would do a candy table for the kids this year at the party.
Once I looked on Oriental Trading I was hooked into buying a ton of adorable red, white and blue themed candy. Yeah, my husband already called me a dork. I just love when a vision comes together :).
I did some searching online for some Printable Patriotic Candy Table Labels but could not find any that I liked. So, I decided to make some myself and I am happy to share them with you for your own patriotic candy table. I wanted to make something that could be used for the 4th of July or Memorial Day so a simple American Flag with a blank spot for the name of the candy or dish you are serving.
You can download the Printable Patriotic Candy Table Labels , completely free of course.
Now on to my shopping totals. I kept things very simple this week. Just enough to get me until after the party so I had enough room for all our party food. I will do a bigger shop on Sunday to make up for it.
Here are my shopping totals:
Spent – $65.92
Saved – $32.75
